Laptop computers (functional laptop computers only), bicycles, cars, Educational books (that help teach English, for example); Oxford English or Picture Dictionaries; Planner/Wall Calendars; Bus passes (7-day or 31-day Go-Durham bus passes); Messenger bags, Professional Backpacks or Briefcases; Gas cards

*The value of any employment-related donations will be double-matched with funding through our Match Grant Program, which provides employment and extended services to help refugees adjust to the U.S. without having to rely on public assistance.

Seasonal Items (Accepted Year Round*):

Men's and Women's Coats (Sizes small, medium and sometimes large; please no more coats at this time); Children's coats (any sizes; please no more coats at this time); Hats; Gloves; Umbrellas 

*Refugees tend to travel from countries with hot climates, and the weather in the Triangle area is much colder than they are used to. Coats often come in handy for refugees even in the spring and summer.
