What is an Apartment Set-Up Team (ASUT)?

*due to low number of incoming refugees, this service is not needed at this point in time

Form an apartment set-up team and create a welcoming home for your refugee partner. Fill the home with the essentials, like groceries, household items and furniture, for your partnered refugee friends to start their new lives. This is oftentimes a refugee family or individual's first permanent home in a long time. Teams can ask friends for donations, frequent yard sales, shop thrift stores or buy items new! Teams can use their own truck or WRD’s box truck to move items into the apartment, and put an extra touch on the space to make it homey. Teams can even choose to pray over each room and your partnered refugees as you set up.
